One of the best VN's I've read so far! How good is it? Well, it got me riled up, emotional, and was able to feel a connection to the protagonist (and his friends).
I share a few things in common with Jet. And to be honest, if he wasn't the MC and was a dateable character instead, I would have gone for him first (he's kinda my type).
I also would have loved a Tread Route, but I'll have to see what's in store for us in the story ahead.

I just hope Tread's okay, and that their body is somehow immune to the virus. Sure, we got off a bad start with them, what's with Kabir and all (no offense, but from what we've seen in the story so far, I don't like him). But they're still adorable, and I would like the MC to make amends with them (and maybe more).
All in all, great story so far! And a well crafted one at that! Good luck with your work!

After the terminal event where we get to know where Tread is held (and selecting a route), when escaping with Daniel, Damion snatches Jet and plans to beat him to death. In most other routes, either Daniel saves Jet, or Jet saves himself (depending on who has the gun). The problem lies in Garret's route. Instead of skipping right to the part where he saves us, it plays the common story part where Daniel is involved, and only after that, it replays but with Garret involved.
My guess is that the code all goes to this common shared bloc of story before branching off according to who's route is selected. Garret's route should be an exception instead. And so, a little "if" statement before Damion tries to hit Jet might help. Something along the lines of:
if (garret_route) then goto garret_prelude;
Not really used to Python here, but I guess you get the idea. Anyway, thank you for bearing with me and reading all this!
Loving this story so far, especially the setting and mood. I suppose my only concern is that, with the route system, it seems like the story is going to be painstaking to write.
However, that's not exactly a gripe because once you get far enough down the line of updates, having such considerable variation in each route is going to draw new readers in to go through every single one (I'm sure current readers like myself plan to keep up with every route as they come out as well). In VNs with 'romance' routes, even ones (like this one) that are more story than romance, I typically stick to my favorite characters right off the bat, but here I'm going to have to test every variation of choices to enjoy everything this game has to offer, and that's a good thing
Do you mind if I record this for a YouTube series for my YouTube channel as long as I have the game download in the description, because I have played it and I am actually excited but also anxious and scared to see Tread go - AKA dead - but I think Jet as us does have some sort of feelings - AKA love don't you think - which that brings me are there anymore NSFW scenes and sex scenes with other characters including Tread, and maybe we could be the next ones being "bitten" just like Tread did?

First of all your writing is down right peak and I love how you make the characters kinda relatable. Also where did you get the protags name and is it a name inspired by someone or something or its s random name you picked
I don't remember how the name got decided on originally, but for a few years while working on the story before it became a furry VN it was just a novel I wanted to write with my partner. His name was originally Jude. We decided to change it to Jet at some point but I don't remember the reason or how we arrived at Jethro.
If you said you named him after a character from NCIS. I'm ma loses it. My heart dropped Wen I saw Jethro as the protages name I thought the game seen my information and automaticly put my name in.
You guys get extra points for giving the people a frog route. Side note, I absolutely love the green highlights (I think that's what they're called) on the sprites, it really makes them pop that much more.
The new update was AMAZING! The writing was good, the characters introduced are a welcome addition, and the story is getting more interesting! Are we to believe the routes we can choice are the only routes going to be available? I would love to have a route with some of the bandmates. I know this VN was not updating because of personal reasons, and I hope all is going well or at the very least better for the team. Hopefully we don't have to wait as long for the next update because I really love the idea of this VN!
Updates going forward should come on a quicker time-scale as we've built up the library of assets. We'll start with a single route at a time until we can finish filling up the roster (We have a lot of characters but probably 70% of the sprites are done now!) then we'll move to an alternating update schedule!
For everyone who doesn't follow them on Patreon. Personal issues, car troubles and a hurricane has, understandably, slowed down production of the game. They are still working on it, we just need to be patient.

I noticed a single line with typos while playing a build I downloaded a couple days ago. Kabir says, "No. They wants you there next to them, but they knows you have higher aspirations then being in a 'silly punk band.'"
There's two errors with "they" ("they wants" and "they knows"), and it should be "than" instead of "then".
I know I'm 2 years late, but I noticed that as well, and it seems intentional. Most people are familiar with using the neutral pronoun the same way as its plural use, but the creator (Lithium) has chosen to use it as they would 'he' or 'she'.
It was intentional, yes. Tread is they/them nonbinary (like myself!) but I think what the original comment was referring to was the wants/knows aspect. In that case it was also intentional as Kabir is meant to be from a Russian background and sometimes slips into a more Russian dialect and uses English incorrectly when he's frustrated or angry.
I was speaking about the inclusion of the s at the end as well, but turns out for an entirely different reason lmao.
I just figured that because the sentence would be written that way if either "He" or "She" were used as the pronoun, you changed it out for "They" but kept the rest of it the same. Didn't even process that it was an (intentionally designed) mistake on Kabir's part
Really good dogdamn 1irst build! 😁 I absolutely LOVE the concept, the writing, and the art~ 😌 I was on the edge of my seat and was so sad that it ended on a cliffhanger! 😂 Great job so far, really. Top dog marks across the board~ 😋
A little question... Will there be any romance and/or NSFW scenes involving Jet? And if so, please do tell me that there will be an option to bottom? Because he's putting off some serious top energy 😅
Yes there will be. Not to spoil but Jet is Versatile. There will be some routes where he will probably bottom, and some where he'll top.. and maybe some where he'll do both!

I love it, I love it! A visual novel setting in zombie-apocalypse is something I always want to see, the first build is great and I love the tension from it.

There will be diverging routes for each of the potential romance characters.
All the romance options will be introduced in chapter two.
Each route will focus on not only the romance, but also select members of the band as well.
For example; first route were working on is Rex, the otter. During the course of his route you'll also get to spend time with Diego (Ink) and Benji and learn more about them as well.

Our sprite artist @canisinfernalis did an amazing job with them. He came up with the rim lighting and our visual director fell in love with it.
